Freedom's Call, a cost-free family orientated celebration, will have something for everyone. For adults, there will be live music from St. Andrews Pipes & Drums, The Kate Hastings Band, This Side Up and the popular Air Force Band of Flight. To harness young ones energy, there will be a children's play area with various activities. For those seeking food and drink, local vendors will be on hand to satisfy your request. The night will be capped off with a spectacular fireworks display lighting the night sky, starting at 10:00 p.m. Come out and enjoy the evening with the family at this Star Spangled event!

 

What: Wright-Patt Freedom's Call

When: June 27, 2014

Where: Grounds of the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, Wright-Patterson AFB

Time: Gates open at 4:00 p.m.

The featured performers for this year's Freedom's Call will be the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, as well as The Kate Hastings Band, This Side Up and St. Andrews Pipes & Drums!

tattoo2Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and a camera.

Please note for security reasons that coolers, backpacks, skateboards, in-line skates and glass bottles, knives and weapons of any kind, to include pepper spray, are not permitted. Pets are not permitted on the event grounds, so please leave your furry friends at home. Strollers, infant diaper bags, cameras and their cases, small purses and pocketbooks are permitted, but subject to inspection. Refreshments are available for purchase during the event from an expanded number of concessionaires.

The Greater Dayton Regional Transit Authority and Wright State University have partnered with Wright-Patterson AFB to provide transportation to and from Freedom's Call 2014.

Interested spectators may park at the Nutter Center in Lot #20. RTA buses will run every 10 to 15 minutes from 4 to 11 p.m.
